Hardcore and really hardcore players might say that every game is best played on the highest difficulty setting. While several titles work best in their harder modes, many titles are quite the opposite. 14 Callisto-protocol
Callisto-protocolin easy mode or minimum security it can still be considered excessive in terms of how much you will actually enjoy it. The sci-fi story and lore is incredibly interesting, and the world that is createdmany hidden plots. However, Biophage's bullet sponge enemies and the mob system are its most disastrous pitfalls.
On the lowest difficulty, you're still likely to die from forced dodges and swing battles, but less often, as you can take less damage and have more ammo and resources available. Otherwise, the harder difficulty levels will make it nearly impossible to get through enemies and will force you to run away from Callisto by shutting down your system.
13 Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris like himMoeras average ragnarokfallen order. However, it's still a Soulslike Metroidvania layout with some tough enemies that can kill you instantly and respawn to do it again, even on a medium difficulty Jedi Knight. There are multiple repetitive mini bosses and giant creatures to fight over and over again,apart from the many main boss fights, which leaves you with no incentives and your Jedi immersion is broken.
12 God of war
2018God of warIt was a complete reimagining of the series, a sequel set in the world of Norse mythology and more cinematic with level progression and skills in RPG format. Saw the old gamesone challenging boss fight after anotherwith the Greek gods, while this game focused on one God, Baldur, and the father-son relationship between Kratos and Atreus after his wife's death.
It is a very linear story-driven game with brilliant acting and character development, and the sequel adds extensive components. Combat is smooth and satisfying with Kratos' new Leviathan axe, and you'll be fine getting through most enemies on normal difficulty. In the end, it's the final boss fight with Baldur where you'll want to switch the easy way. It is long and heavy and consists of multiple stages with not only rampage attacks, but also Freyas and a resurrected giant named Thamur dealing freeze damage.
11 Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy
To playGuardians of the Universeon the game's easiest difficulty, We Got This, it feels like it makes no sense. There's only a slight difference in a normal difficulty combat challenge where you end up using more Clutch Gear Huddles and being more strategic with your Guardians' abilities. But the main characters, clever writing and dialogue, and overall story rival James Gunn's films.
The plot and progression of the storytelling is completely immersive, with a lot of lore to discover and great storylines, while also introducing new characters not yet covered in the Marvel movies. There are waves of enemy encounters you have to fight through that bring more brutal mini-bosses and tanks, and things get especially tough towards the end with more church healers, so taking it easy will make it easier.
10 Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Opmass effecttrilogy is also one of those games where the story and characters are so good that you will probably just play it, and this is a big draw for a significant part of the player base. However, that's just one of the reasons why Mass Effect is the most fun on easy.

The second is that on the hardest mode, the game can feel like an old-fashioned game.Obligationsin Veteran, especially in Mass Effect 2 and 3. ME3 is brutal at its worst, and like World at War in Veteran, it's just not that much fun. If you play the easy way, you will have fun and fall in love with the series.

Like a mass effectmedicine man 3it has an amazing story with amazingly written dialogues. The characters are great and the side missions are also a major highlight. What sets Witcher 3 apart from Mass Effect is that the game still contains many challenging parts in the easy mode. Werewolves are still hard to kill, and even Gwent's toughest opponents aren't easy.
It's a great easy way that you still have to try, and it's not a passive experience. While Witcher 3's more difficult modes have some mechanical differences, such as meditation no longer healing you, it's not as big of a change asFallout New Vegas'difficult mode. The game will be a better experience in easy mode for a lot of you.
8 Skyrim
The fifth part of the programold scrollsserie,Skyrimis one of the best open world RPGs to date. Like many other games in the genre, the differences in difficulty are small. In Skyrim, the only difference between the modes is the damage stat. Since the change is so small, why not just play it easy?
Casual play is still a great way to experience Skyrim. Harder modes won't make the game any more fun as the difference is very negligible. Also, Skyrim's easy mode still has challenging parts. Especially some of the hard bosses in the sidequests with very painful skills.
7 unexplored
I have SonyunexploredThe series is one of the best-known PlayStation titles. With good third-person shots, likeable characters and epic moments, the games are a real sensation. While their more difficult modes present quite a challenge, these third-person shooters are more fun in the easy mode.

One of thethe most underrated games of recent timesit must be the 2010 Splatterhouse reboot. There are several reasons why easy mode is the most fun in this game. First is the loading times. Even installed on Xbox 360, it takes a while and the final levels have a big increase in difficulty. Easy mode mitigates that problem, as you don't die as often.
Second, the easy mode will help in the initial levels, where it is difficult to learn the basic mechanics. The early moments are a bit clunky, and the easy way will further lessen that. Because of these factors, it's easily the best way to experience Splatterhouse, especially if you're new to it.
5 Mortal Kombat 9 Story Mode
